Instructor Az's End Of Year Message
Dear Students/Parents,
Needless to say it has been a pretty special year. I am filled with gratitude for our amazing Martial Arts community. I am forever thankful to all of you who supported Warrior Martial Arts through all that has been going on. I know many of you continued to pay fee’s, even if you were unable to attend classes. This has not gone un-noticed and you have my deepest appreciation and respect.
I know many Martial Arts schools that have been forced to close their doors permanently as a result of the pandemic. Thanks to all of you, we will not be one of the many businesses that will have to shut down permanently. If you or any of your loved ones have been directly effected, whether it be personally or professionally, I sympathise with you and wish you a speedy recovery.
A huge amount of credit to all of you who continued to train as best you could. When we couldn’t meet each other, we trained online. When we couldn’t use our halls, we trained outdoors. When we couldn’t make contact we trained solo. One of the lessons Martial Arts teaches us is how to be resilient and adapt to change. Safe to say we have done that in 2020.
Whether you celebrate this time of year or not, I wanted to take the time to send my best wishes to your and your loved ones. I am well aware that going into January it's not going to be all sunshine and rainbows. However, I am confident that we will prevail and even prosper as a club once all of this has come to pass.
Warrior MA will be closing it’s doors this week and re-opening on Monday 4th January. I will be in touch before this date with an updated timetable and the opportunity for students to permanently book slots if they attend a class regularly. Please note, I tend to go off grid during this time, so any messages or emails will be responded to in the New Year.
Thank you once again from the bottom of my heart and I look forward to continuing our Martial Arts journey together into 2021.
All the best
Az Miralay
