Kids Martial Arts Class
(6-10 Yrs)

Our Kids Martial Arts classes for ages 6–10 focus on building strong fundamentals while developing coordination, discipline, and focus in a fun, friendly environment. The syllabus is a kickboxing-based system, influenced by Karate, Taekwondo, and Muay Thai, combining high-energy training with the structure of traditional martial arts.

As an accredited Kickboxing GB club, we follow an internationally recognised WAKO grading system to keep kids motivated and progressing over time. For those who want to go further, we also offer an active competition team, giving students the opportunity to compete and deepen their understanding of the sport.

Juniors/Teens Martial Arts Class
(11-14 Yrs)

Our Junior Martial Arts classes for ages 11–14 build on the same kickboxing-based system as our Kids classes, adapted for their stage of development and maturity. We focus on helping juniors step away from screens and engage with others in a safe, structured sporting environment.

Classes follow the Kickboxing GB grading syllabus, with influence from traditional martial arts. Whether your child is building confidence, managing energy, or developing new skills, our Junior classes provide a fun, supportive community. Juniors also have access to our grading, competition pathway, and Junior Coaching Program, where they can develop leadership skills and support younger members.

Sparring
Drills & Rounds
(11+ Yrs)

Our Sparring Classes are ideal for students who enjoy the competitive side of martial arts and want to train regularly in a safe, ego-free environment. Sessions are fully supervised and focus on skill development, control, and confidence.

Based on WAKO Kickboxing rules, these classes are suitable for Junior and Adult students and support both competition preparation and personal development. While optional sparring is included monthly in regular classes, these dedicated sessions offer more frequent practice, focused coaching, and a strong emphasis on safety and respect for training partners.

I think sparring is the most important element of Martial Arts training. It’s great to see a club include it so heavily in their timetable.

Flex & Mobility

Our Flex & Mobility add-on sessions are 20-minute intensive stretching routines designed to improve flexibility and mobility. These sessions support martial arts performance while also benefiting overall health and wellbeing.

Held on Fridays, they’re an optional extra for members looking to enhance their kicking ability and take their training to the next level.

At 45 years of age and most of that spent sitting at a desk, I have never been naturally flexible. But these sessions have really helped to open up my hips and give me a level of comfort day to day that has honestly changed my life.
